Zionism is a grave sin according to the Bible
What every Bible-believing Christian should know from Christ Himself and His apostles
Writing about zionism was not on my agenda this Lent. I’d rather not write about it but considering the news that U.S. warships are presently on the move to the Mediterranean and the waters closer to Iran, its pretty obvious that something is up. I hope and pray that this is all just grandstanding and that the U.S. is not getting ready to launch a strike on Iran, on behalf of that predominantly atheist country in the Middle-East that calls itself Israel. The rhetoric however is not encouraging.
Good ole Mike Huckabee has been in the news lately. If you aren’t familiar, Huckabee is the U.S. ambassador to the aforementioned atheist country in the Middle-East. Prior to his current job, he held positions as the Governor of Arkansas, Fox News host, presidential candidate and on the side, he’s an ordained Baptist minister. Oh, and as a subset to being a Baptist minister, he is also a “Christian zionist.”
Huckabee, and plenty of others in his circles have no problem with the antics of Benjamin Netanyahoo (not a typo) and the other sadists who have governed the atheist country in the Middle-East since its establishment in 1947. Whether its the scorched-earth holocaust that they have inflicted on the people of Gaza, the uprooting of the real Semitic people of the region from their homes, the aggression into Lebanon and now Syria, and pretty much anything else… any and all of that is excused because the aggressors, according to Christian zionists, are “God’s chosen people” and “zionism” is sanctioned as a result.
If Huckabee truly believes this and is serious about being a Baptist minister, he is pretty ignorant of the Bible, and the same can be said of everyone who defends zionism because “the Bible says so.” Well, I’m not sorry to say that the Bible says no such thing and is pretty clear on the exact opposite. I am now going to copy and paste directly from the Good Book with some brief commentary.
The PRE-CHRISTIAN Jewish people were indeed God’s chosen people
The following passages in the Old Testament make reference that the Hebrew people, were indeed chosen for a specific purpose: Exodus 19:5; Deuteronomy 7:6-8, 14:2, 26:17-19; 2 Samuel 7:23-24; 1 Kings 8:53, 10:9; 1 Chronicles 17:20-21; Psalm 105:8-15, 135:4; Isaiah 41:8, 43:1-3; Jeremiah 31:1-4, 31:9-11; 46:27-28; Ezekiel 36:24-28, 37:21-25; Joel 3:1-2; Amos 3:1-2.
But then, something happened in the New Testament…
You do the works of your father. They said therefore to him: We are not born of fornication: we have one Father, even God. Jesus therefore said to them: If God were your Father, you would indeed love me. For from God I proceeded, and came; for I came not of myself, but he sent me: Why do you not know my speech? Because you cannot hear my word. You are of your father the devil, and the desires of your father you will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and he stood not in the truth; because truth is not in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father thereof. But if I say the truth, you believe me not. John 8: 41-45
Here we have the long-awaited Messiah - Jesus Christ - Son of God speaking. God promised His chosen people a Messiah and He delivered. But despite all of the miracles, the teachings, the reading of their minds, some of those chosen people refused to see what they had been after so long, had been granted. Here, Our Lord brilliantly upbraids them with the type of tough-love that loving fathers have to do when their children are being stubborn and falling into serious error.
And in the ninth hour, Jesus cried out with a loud voice saying: Eli, Eli, lamma sabacthani? That is, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me? And some that stood there and heard said: This man calleth Elias. And immediately one of them running took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar; and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink. And the others said: Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to deliver him. And Jesus again crying with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. And behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top even to the bottom, and the earth quaked, and the rocks were rent. Matthew 27: 46-51
This passage is key. We have fast-forwarded to the Crucifixion and Our Lord has fulfilled the prophecies. Upon His Sacrifice at Calvary, the temple was rent which means that it was destroyed. Heaven was not subtle… The Old Covenant was now over. Judiasm ceased to exist: it was forever replaced at that very moment by Christianity. Those Jews who converted were no longer Jews but Christians. Those who still denied The Truth were now in sin. The Messiah came. God kept His promise. End of discussion.
Tough love in the Acts of the Apostles and other New Testament Books
Ye men of Israel, hear these words: Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you, by miracles, and wonders, and signs, which God did by him, in the midst of you, as you also know: This same being delivered up, by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, you by the hands of wicked men have crucified and slain. Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the sorrows of hell, as it was impossible that he should be holden by it. Acts of the Apostles 2: 22-25
The (still non-converted) Jews are lovingly reminded that their long-awaited Messiah came.
Therefore, let all the house of Israel know most certainly, that God hath made both Lord and Christ, this same Jesus, whom you have crucified. Now when they had heard these things, they had compunction in their heart, and said to Peter, and the rest of the apostles: What shall we do, men and brethren? But Peter said to them: Do penance, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ, for the remission of your sins: and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. Acts of the Apostles 2: 36-38
Peter doesn’t harp on them for rejecting and ultimately killing Jesus Christ, their long-awaited Messiah. He lovingly offers them a path to salvation in The Church.
You stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you always resist the Holy Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you also. Which of the prophets have not your fathers persecuted? And they have slain them who foretold of the coming of the Just One; of whom you have been now the betrayers and murderers: Who have received the law by the disposition of angels, and have not kept it. Now hearing these things, they were cut to the heart, and they gnashed with their teeth at him. But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looking up steadfastly to heaven, saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. And he said: Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God. Acts of the Apostles 7: 51-55
Denying The Christ, even after abundant evidence has led them to heartlessness and rage. Stephen, despite his imminent death held firm and lovingly told them The Truth. If only the 99.999 percent of U.S. lawmakers being blackmailed by AIPAC had the faith and strength of St. Stephen!
And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was earnest in preaching, testifying to the Jews, that Jesus is the Christ. But they gainsaying and blaspheming, he shook his garments, and said to them: Your blood be upon your own heads; I am clean: from henceforth I will go unto the Gentiles. Acts of the Apostles 18: 5-6
Paul is to this day a Biblical hero of many Protestants, many of whom are fierce defenders of zionism. I have never understood this because all the evidence points to St. Paul as anything but a zionist.
For you, brethren, are become followers of the churches of God which are in Judea, in Christ Jesus: for you also have suffered the same things from your own countrymen, even as they have from the Jews, Who both killed the Lord Jesus, and the prophets, and have persecuted us, and please not God, and are adversaries to all men; Prohibiting us to speak to the Gentiles, that they may be saved, to fill up their sins always: for the wrath of God is come upon them to the end. 1 Thessalonians 2:14-16
Pretty heavy passage to meditate upon.
And to the angel of the church of Smyrna write: These things saith the First and the Last, who was dead, and is alive: I know thy tribulation and thy poverty, but thou art rich: and thou art blasphemed by them that say they are Jews and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Apocalypse 2: 8-9
Apocalypse (aka. Revelation) is the final revelation, revealed from Heaven to the last apostle, St. John. Synagogue of satan is a pretty harsh term but think about it… If you reject the OBVIOUS Son of God, you are rejecting God. What is the exact opposite of God? Yes, that guy down below in a much, much warmer climate.
Let’s end on a final passage of charity for those who still reject the Messiah
Behold, I will bring of the synagogue of Satan, who say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie. Behold, I will make them to come and adore before thy feet. And they shall know that I have loved thee. Apocalypse 3: 9
May God bless and protect the persecuted victims of zionism and especially those suffering and dying in Gaza, the greater Middle-East, Ukraine and elsewhere. Saints Peter and Paul, pray for us and especially for the conversion of the Jews.

Christian zionism is a heresy of the highest order. The first convenant with the Israelites was a component of the saga of salvation, not a separate branch as the dispensationalists claim from their misreading of scripture thanks to the Schofield “study bible.”
When God told Abraham that his descendants would outnumber the stars in the sky, he meant the rise of the Church.
All very true; there is only One Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church outside of which there is neither holiness or salvation.
